Organiser: Leipniz Universität Hannover, Fakultät für Architektur und Landschaft
Location: großer Hörsaal (C050) der Fakultät für Architektur und Landschaft

In the lecture series 'Between the lines and its margins', Caroline Voet analyses the work of the Benedictine monk and architect Dom Hans van der Laan. She hereby presents parts from her research on Van der Laan's unpublished source material, his lectures and design sketches. In different ways, a comprehensive and critical analysis is presented on Architectonic Space as well as the Plastic Number. Every lecture builds on the previous one, drawing in new research questions through the exchange with the audience.

The Hannover lecture is the second in the series, after the lecture in arts centre de Singel in Antwerp.
